In the living world, it's hard to do. Maybe with sufficiently powerful astral magic... but a soul tied to a physical body is too resilient for that.

But if we are dead, and this is the spiritual plane... Then hypothetically, any harm we do to one another is spiritual in nature. And we don't have a physical form to protect our souls with.

...so you're suggesting that existing like this could put us at risk of it by nature.
