A princess I met on my travels.

I was hired to protect her, so I would like to know if I succeeded at that.

Well... our paths had crossed a few times before then, too.

And... yeah. Didn't actually think I could win... Just had to buy some time. I thought this body was durable enough to hold out for longer.

Death and life both have the meaning we give them, I think. You were-- you meant to do something good, with yours, I don't think that stops counting regardless of how it turned out.

I'm not concerned about how my deeds will be judged. All that matters are the results.

I've spent a lot of my life being called "villain" or "hero" and pushed into one role or the other. After a while, the notions of good and evil start to feel meaningless.

Suppose that makes sense. People always want to make things easier to understand, in that way.

Still, regardless of judgment, I'd-- like to think all of us will be remembered.

I think most people would, you know, but- yes.
