[ coming back to the room late in the evening... the good news is the static is gone and his poodle puff is back to its usual single curl, if slightly less smooth than it used to be. ]

also he kinda smells like weed.]

Once was odd, but twice in a row feels like more of a shift, I think.

Hard to keep writing it all off as coincidence.

It really is. If people not even wanting to kill still turns out like this, suppose we're truly stuck with it.

I'd like to think they could avoid it by simply staying put when they wake up on Thursday nights, but no way to tell until someone tries that, I suppose.

You'd think. Guess curiosity or paranoia will do a lot-- or just confidence.
