You do all tend to make things much more complicated than they need to be. Tiptoeing around all that evidence today wasn't helping anything.

I will say that I think it's stupid that we even had to have a trial as usual in a case like this.

There's no point to it. Or, well. There is, but in this case it was just to make us suffer over it, probably. Kill someone who did it but shouldn't have to die for it, or kill someone who didn't do anything.
