To be fair, her stalling as long as she did was the only reason we even kept searching and found that other evidence.

We should probably also try to ensure that if anyone spent the night in a location we plan to search for evidence, we should include one of them as a member of that investigation team when possible.

I suppose it could just be a part of the memory loss, but it doesn't seem like either of them saw anyone else awake in their respective locations.

It doesn't, but they could have faked it just as easily. Followed one of them.

True. Anyone in the Home Biome wouldn't have had to worry about him coming back and catching them either.

...on the other hand-- she said she had time to try to find a place to hide, and for Kon to arrive and talk with her, before she found herself reaching for the knife.

Maybe there is something to that. If that much time passed, they could've been elsewhere, and that's- what, four of us?

...keep going back and forth on starting location, but. Either someone who was at neither location or someone who was at the gift shop. Easier access to the costumes, and she had wounds to deal with on top of what she'd done after coming to, it wouldn't be that hard to make it back so she never realized anyone was gone. Considering the larger size, then for the gift shop that's more likely you, Itto, and Date. Outside, it's Lee. Didn't check sizing though since the things are so baggy anyway, could've been that the larger one wasn't the largest, which would make it more like... Kuranosuke, Hunter, Ryo and Akira.

Zel's excused on the basis of probably roughing the thing up if he'd worn it.

Eager to write off the room you started out in at the first chance, I see.

I'd rule out Mr. Arataki, unless you found holes in the ears of that kigurumi that he could have covered his horns with.

I wouldn't say eager. Just makes less sense-- besides, the group from there would be myself, Gideon, Lin, Bixing, and Thancred. If she's not guilty, someone else was probably involved in making her do it-- it's very unlikely to be Lin or Bixing unless they don't remember, Thancred and Gideon are in no shape and probably would have bled on it, and I have to use a cane for now. Would've probably left marks or something somewhere.

In any case, it was interesting to learn that there could be more than two awake with only one victim.

Suppose that might mean it was premeditated. That, or extremely lucky for someone opportunistic enough, but I doubt something like this was coincidence.

You know, if I had to guess at who'd be most likely to do it that way-- keep themselves completely out of it, end up going wholly unnoticed? Out of the people I listed, I'd probably say you. Smart way to do it. Never get looked at anyway.

Neither do Lee or Ryo, in fairness, but.
