[that was-- something, definitely. rynlan's lingering at the execution bar as well, with a glass of something alcoholic and purple, staring into it between sips.]
No punches pulled here, apparently. Doing that to both of them?
It's not something I've ever seen done with shadows, so-- novel, in a horrifying sort of way. And interesting in the sense that it seems like even killing a murderer is punished similarly.
[rynlan can find harrow sometime on monday exploring the new island. specifically, she's in the aquarium room, and it sounds like she may be in there with someone else. she's looking into the tank of fish, one hand on the glass, talking as though it's to someone else in the room, but no one is there.
when he comes into the room, she blinks, startled.]
Oh - good afternoon. [even then she sounds a little oddly hesitant.]
[oh, kitty. she squints at it, but she's sort of generally confused right now and trying to settle herself. she also assumes she's being made fun of right now.]
[the good And bad news is he got feelings back, at some point, but at least when you're blue and your eyes are also glowy it's very easy to hide any lingering redness. he's out here with his cat at his heels; she's just lingering close, winding around his feet when he pauses.]
[memshare week is hell. harrow is trying to avoid being caught up in it however she can, which means that when she spots rynlan, she'll turn and walk away. but she isn't fast enough.
[god, that's a fucking lot to take in, but-- the end, especially, that one is. it's rough to watch. his ears pin back, at it, hair tentacles writhing, though he doesn't go so far as to look ill. he's seen a lot. that doesn't make it any less unpleasant, though, witnessing that sort of death.]
-fuck. [is what he manages to say at first, with a little shake of his head. the tentacles don't really calm themselves.] Sorry. Seems like the place is set on this kind of thing, this week.
[feels a little fucked up to just-- ask about someone dying right off the bat.]
[this will be after he is Freed from the magical girl outfit because he can only suffer so much indignity, but. at some point after they're all done debating, he'll come find harrow.]
[he's still looking tired and feverish, as he flips through a book on his lap. harrow lives with him i'm not going to pretend about shit this is thancred's cat hoodie he's wearing.]

[as if it's normal to talk to fish or something. maybe it is. he talks to his cat, sometimes.
she's perched on his shoulder, chirping at harrow-- a clingy siamese cat, from the looks of it.]

How droll. I was simply testing something.
