it doesn't go uh. quite as smoothly on date's end. he does manage the whole glass, which feels like a victory in and of itself. but he is trying to force down a series of coughs after he pulls this feat off. ]

For a second there I was worried I'd have to resuscitate you, and the last thing I want is to get a taste of whatever's in that drink.

If it was a nicer drink, then -- well maybe we wouldn't be in this situation anyway. But it'd make resuscitation taste nicer.

One of them made people clumsy, I remember that much. But some of them were pretty harmless.

Oh my god. My hero. [ he is absolutely taking them and digging in with a ... weird amount of determination given he didn't seem hungry at all a moment ago. ] Whoever put a convenience store in the last island is a genius. How the hell were we meant to survive off fast food for as long as we had to?

Took them off Thancred. He's been carrying too many, anyway, and I have more pocket space.

At least you know you'll never be hungry.

Maybe it's the "angry" part of it that's the point. Weird that it makes you hungry, but if irrational and mad as well...? [ i'm scared is it vore week ]
