Kon was probably dead, when Tuuri stabbed him. I don't doubt she did, she remembers holding the knife and sitting on his back. She remembers slashing at him with a knife. But she's not guilty of his murder, so he had to have died before she made that first stab.

The costume was a larger size, though. If it was worn by someone too small, it would've likely been dirtied a bit differently around the ankles. That's mostly what we have to go on.
